  • Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age  “Screenagers is about the impact of the digital age on children and how to help families minimize harmful effects and find balance. After seeing the film, people tell us that they feel more confident and better
equipped to establish balance around screen time.”

Please join us! We will be hosting a screening of this documentary at Lake Shore Middle School on Thursday, May 17th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. This free community event will include informational tables and pizza before the screening and childcare during the screening and afterwards for the panel discussion.

Students from the middle school and elementary schools will be viewing Screenagers during the day, so this will be a great way to start a discussion within your family and the school community. If you wish to attend, please R.S.V.P. <- Click here.

You can also download a Parent Guide from the creators of Screenagers from the website. If you cannot access the R.S.V.P. link or have further questions, please email Katherine Moldenhauer or Christie Waterman.

  • As of Monday, April 9, 2018, students in the Middle School will no longer be able to charge breakfast or lunch meals to their account.  Please provide the funds necessary for the student meals according to your child’s Free, Reduced or Paid meal status.  If you are already set up with my school bucks no further action is necessary.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s lunch account, please feel free to contact Debbie Becker at 716-926-2291 or Sue Kowal at 716-926-2222. We appreciate your cooperation in making sure your child’s account balance remains positive, so that they are able to fully participate in the District’s Breakfast and Lunch programs.
