Children enrolling in Kindergarten in the Lake Shore Central
School District as of September 2017 should register between February 21 – 24, 2017. The school district will conduct Kindergarten
Registration as outlined below.
- To be enrolled in the September 2017
Kindergarten class, a child living in the Lake Shore Central School District
must be five years of age on or before December 1, 2017 pursuant to §7120 of the Lake Shore CSD
Policy Manual and NYS Education Department regulations.
- Proof of age is required at the time of registration.
A birth certificate, baptismal record, or a passport will serve as adequate
proof of age. Also, an official record of immunizations and proof of district
residency is required for registration.
- All immunizations must be acquired by the start
of school in September. Students without required immunizations will not be
permitted to start school.
- Kindergarten Visitation - parents and entering
students will be invited to visit classrooms, take a short bus ride, and meet
teachers before the start of school.

REGISTRATION LOCATION AND DATES
materials can be picked up and completed during the week of February
21 – 24, 2017. The registrar’s office is
located in the W. T. Hoag Educational Center (42 Sunset Boulevard, Angola, NY).
Parents can contact the registrar’s office now (926-2217) to have packets
mailed ahead of time for completion and submission during our open registration
INCOMING KINDERGARTEN PARENT/GUARDIAN INFORMATION NIGHT
6:00 – 8:00 pm in the
Middle School Auditorium (8855 Erie Road, Angola, NY)
Parents will have an opportunity to hear from various
school personnel about our Kindergarten program, curriculum, offerings, and

this program in order for their child to be properly registered. All registration materials should be
completed and submitted by April 26, 2017.
