This year the Family Fun Walk will take place in a socially distanced manner on Saturday, April 17, 2021!  There are several ways for you to particpate:

A Family Scavenger Hunt in various locations across the district!  Look for painted rocks on the playgrounds at the Saylor Building, AJ Schmidt Elementary, Highland Elementary and JT Waugh/Hoag Elementary.  Take a picture of the rocks you find and return them.

You can also Walk Your Own Route with Your Family!  Take a picture of you and your family showing your walk!

Here is a 'mile marker' you can use:  Family Fun Walk Mile Marker

And of course, Chiavetta's Chicken Dinners and a Balloon Artist will be at the Middle School Sculpture Garden between 11am and 1pm.  This is also where you can pick up your participation gifts and receive helpful information from our collaborative agencies.

Chiavetta's Chicken Dinners must be pre-ordered and cost $11.  Dinners can be picked up on April 17th between 11am and 1pm at the Middle School Sculpture Garden.  Here is the form:  Family Fun Walk 2021 Registration

    Food Bank of WNY

Feedmore WNY: We are keeping our website https://www.foodbankwny.org/ updated with changes to hours for pantry and soup kitchens.  We also have our mobile pantry listing with lots of added stops that we will continue to add on to on our website.  We have streamlined our distributions at our pantries to make it easier and safer. Clients can now attest to their information and we are not touching their IDs.  Most pantries have gone to a pre-bagged method and temporarily suspended client choice to expedite and allow for models such as drive up or walk up to door. If a client really has special food needs, they should call the pantry ahead of time to see what arrangements can be made.  Clients can call ahead and make arrangements for someone else to pick up for them. Our mobile sites have also made various arrangements to allow for social distancing. Soup kitchens are primarily serving to go containers often out a door to disperse clients. Our Meals on Wheels information is also available on https://mealsonwheelswny.org/.
