Individuals can learn their career immediately, pursue those career paths further, or move on to post-secondary educational opportunities with valuable experience and skills.     Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
    Students in their Junior take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Career Exploration Program. The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) can help students take steps now toward finding a career that's right fo you. Students can benefit from the program whether they plan to pursue further education after high school or enter the workforce right away. The program is designed to help students: Learn more about themself and the world of work, explore occupations in line with ones interest and skills, and develop an effective strategy to realize career goals.     Buffalo Building and Trades Council
    The individual member unions of the Buffalo Building & Construction Trades Council are comprised of thousands of highly-trained  and experienced workers, whose track record of producing quality work and results on projects throughout the Western New York construction industry speaks for itself.

    As such, it’s the mission of the Trades Council to provide our members with the necessary professional education and training to better their skills and to maintain productive and safe working environments.

    The Trades Council is also dedicated to completing our projects on time and under budget, which is attained by fostering positive relationships between organized labor and management.

    It is also the mission of the Buffalo Building & Construction Trades Council to play a major role in improving the quality of life of not only our members, but the entire Western New York community.
