Congratulations to our Lake Shore musicians selected to participate in the 2022 NYS School Music Association's Junior High Area All-State Band and Choruses.

"These students were selected to perform based on auditions they did in the spring," says Middle School Music Teacher Jennifer Kenny. "Their scores earned them places in these prestigious ensembles among the best 7th, 8th and 9th graders from Erie, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Niagara counties. After a day and a half of intense rehearsals at Akron High School, the weekend concluded with some incredible performances."

The band students were 9th graders Courtney Shappell and Clara Deeds, along with 8th grader Jordyn Ruffles-Nebel. Chorus students included freshmen Hope Crusan and Kelsey Dynas, and 7th graders Taylor Crupe, Libby DeJoy, Eli Gilhooly, Karsen Hazard and Hunter Heater. The musicians are students of Mrs. Kenny, and Mrs. Anna Agro, Mr. Eric Blodgett, and Ms. Deanna Civilette.
