William G. Houston Middle School is proud to announce its May 2023 Citizens of the Month:

6th grade - Bailee Taggart
Bailee is on Team Evolution and her favorite subject is Art. Outside of school, Bailee likes to draw and her favorite thing in the world is her family. In the future, Bailee would like to be a marine biologist.  She feels that the most important traits for continued success are kindness and having a nice sense of humor.

7th grade - Emmett Chimera
Emmett is on Team Infinity and his favorite subject is math. Outside of school Emmett likes to play with his dog and play hockey - his favorite thing in the world is hockey! In the future, Emmett would like to get into the NHL. He believes that the most important trait for continued success is to keep working hard, no matter what. 

8th grade - Gloria Wamback  
Gloria is on Team Spirit and her favorite subject is science. Outside of school, Gloria likes to read and draw, and her favorite thing in the world is to paint.  In the future, Gloria would like to go to UB. She feels that the most important trait for continued success is perseverance.
