Hoopin' for Literacy Event Raises $ for Sports Books in Elementary Libraries

Hoopin' for Literacy 5th graders and their teachers pose for a group shot at the 2nd annual event, which raised $125 for each elementary school library to purchase sports books.

 

To earn sports books for their school libraries, Lake Shore's 5th graders played in the 2nd Annual "Hoopin' for Literacy." The Lake Shore Central Teachers' Association (LSCTA) donated $125 toward these books for EACH elementary school library.
