Lake Shore to Comply With ECDOH, CDC & AAP Mandates & Recommendations

On Monday, August 23, 2021, the Erie County Department of Health released the, Erie County Department of Health Guidance for PK-12 Schools, 2021-2022. The guidance provided by the Erie County Department of Health is based on information and resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

The Lake Shore Central School District will follow the mandates and recommendations from the Erie County Department of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Academy of Pediatrics as we begin the 2021-2022 school year. The implementation of these safety measures will greatly increase our ability to provide five day a week, in-person instruction for all of our students. We will continue to adjust our plan based on new information from the Erie County Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

In this letter are highlights of information you need to know for student return in September in terms of masking requirements and remote instruction.
