Students in the new Advanced Baking class finished the semester by creating their own cakes. The cakes were made from scratch and all designs were created by the students. Cake flavors included from strawberry, chocolate and coffee. The cakes were scored based on final appearance, taste and the group's ability to work together.
Advanced Baking is a new class that is being offered through the Family and Consumer Science Department at the High School. The class also baked cookies, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, croissants and apple pie.
