Lake Shore Freshman Academy Students "Dress for Success!"
If asked, most freshmen would probably not know how to truly dress professionally for either a formal occasion or job interview. Well, this is not the case for the 9th-graders in the Lake Shore Freshman Academy. As part of their First Impressions' unit in their Freshman Seminar class, Lake Shore freshmen have been busy applying their professional dress skills every Friday for the month of April. Students understand that they only have one chance to make a positive, first impression. That first impression depends heavily, like it not, on how they are dressed and groomed. In addition to applying their professional skills, students have found a sense of class camaraderie and fun in establishing themselves as a well-dressed class. For the faculty and staff, it has been fun and encouraging watching our freshmen mature. The Lake Shore Freshman Academy teachers are very proud of their freshmen and believe they will be ready to impress all in their future endeavors!
