Boys Track Defeats West Seneca East
Congratulations to the boys' varsity track and field team as they kicked off their season this week with a win over West Seneca East with a score of 107 to 27. Many great times and distances led to our victory! Jake Buzinski was a quadruple winner taking first in the long jump, high jump, 100 and the 4 by 1 relay. Sophomore Kole Henry took first in the 800, the mile. Our 4 by 8, 4 by 4 and 4 by 1 relays all won, and sophomore Cole Kowalski took first in the pole vault. Hurdlers Ben Mauer and Tommy Smaldino took first and second in the 110 and 400 hurdles, and sophomore Kurran O'Connor took first in the 2 mile. McHale Connors took 2nd in the 400 with a time of 54 seconds while junior Tyler Gaul Sexton took first in the discus. The team heads to Dunkirk this Friday for its first invite of the season!
