Mark Gardner has been appointed as an Energy Education Specialist at Lake Shore Schools. In this role, he will monitor energy usage in the buildings and collaborate with colleagues across the District to reduce our energy consumption and reduce costs.Mr. Gardner has been focused on coordinating the building control software with actual building operations.He has been invited to each of the faculty meetings to present Energy Education Program and has worked with custodians and buildings and grounds employees on the implementation of Energy Education.
The Lake Shore Central Schools expects everyone to become an "energy saver" as well as an "energy consumer." Energy Education Specialist Mark Gardner has two simple recommendations for instructional staff:
Turn lights off when exiting classrooms.
Completely shutdown computers at the close of the instructional day.
