2025-2026 Holiday Valley Ski & Snowboard Program
Lake Shore Community Education offers an 8 week ski program at Holiday Valley Ski Resort. Participants ski at their own risk as Community Education does not assist with skiing at the resort.
Transportation via school bus is available for $115. Chaperones are provided for the transportation as well as support at the resort. Chaperones are charged with supervising students; they are not provided to instruct and/or teach skiing/snowboarding. If more than one bus is used to transport students; students will be assigned to a bus.
All parents or guardians of students shall abide by the following rules and understand the risk involved while engaging in this activity. The following rules have been established for the safety of all participants. Any violation of these rules or any ejection from the ski resort for any reason will result in the immediate expulsion of the students(s) from the program without refund.
- Group ski/snowboard lessons are offered for free by Holiday Valley. Beginners must attend lessons.
- No smoking at anytime.
- No loud distracting behavior or horseplay.
- Each participant is responsible for being on time for scheduled bus departures.
- Parents/Guardians shall arrange to pick their children up on time when returning from the Holiday Valley.
- All students shall be transported to and from the ski area on school buses unless a written authorization for private transportation and release is provided by the parent/guardian in special circumstances ONLY.
Students are expected to adhere to the District Code of Conduct and directions from chaperones and bus drivers at all times.
IF A STUDENT IS FOUND DRINKING OR IN THE POSSESSION OF ANY OTHER DRUG, NARCOTIC, DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE, HE/SHE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOARD THE BUS, WILL FORFEIT LIFT TICKET, AND BE REMOVED FROM THE PROGRAM.
