My name is Mrs. Susan Serena. I am a graduate of Buffalo State College where I earned both my Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees in elementary and special education. I am excited to be starting my 32nd year as an elementary education teacher and look forward to working with you and your child. I spent the first 4 years of my career as a special education teacher working with children with special needs. The past 27 years I have had the honor and privilege of teaching first grade at Highland Elementary. My husband and I are both proud graduates of the Lake Shore Central School District (including Highland Elementary). We chose to raise our two children (also graduates of Lake Shore Central) in the LSC community so that they too would experience the wonderful things that the Lake Shore Central School District and the Town of Evans have to offer. I can't wait to meet you and your child and look forward to an exciting and rewarding year. ;)
