My name is Mrs. Sherry Hausrath and I am a third grade teacher at the Highland Elementary School in Derby, New York. I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grade throughout my career. I am so excited to teach third grade this year! I have been preparing all summer and learning about the third grade curriculum. I can't wait to meet my new students!
I grew up in Lancaster, New York with my family. I graduated from Gannon University and Buffalo State College. I currently live in my hometown with my husband, daughter, and sons. Although I do not live in the district, I have worked hard and am fully committed to Lake Shore. Green and white have become my favorite colors and I have EAGLE PRIDE! I am proud to say that this is my 23rd year of teaching and I am looking forward to an exciting, happy year!
