Hello! My name is Andrea Ridolfi and I have been teaching children for 27 years! My desire to become a teacher began in my early years of school, when I would bring home extra worksheets and teach my classroom full of stuffed animals! I am currently in my twentieth year of teaching at Lakeshore Central Schools, with past experience in Catholic Education. I graduated in 1991 from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, concentrating in Early Childhood Education. I received my Master's Degree from the University at Buffalo in 1998, in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. I have been fortunate enough to teach sixth grade, fourth grade, second grade, first grade, and kindergarten. My heart has found a home teaching young children! So much growth occurs in first grade from September through June! These early learners grow in so many ways! It's a joy and so heartwarming to see and experience all that the students will achieve this year!
As for my personal life, I live at home in Cheektowaga with my husband Jim, seventeen year old daughter, Emma, fourteen year old son, Eric and my eight year old Shi-tzu, Bella Louise! We now have added a crested gecko into our home! I firmly believe that being a mom has greatly impacted the kind of teacher I am today. Family is so important in my life!
Teaching first grade is AWESOME! It's where I want to be!
Don't work to live, LIVE TO WORK!
