Meet the Teacher!

Welcome to Highland!  My name is Priscilla Steinert and I am one of the four Kindergarten teachers here at Highland. 

I graduated from Potsdam State in 2003 and received my Masters from Fredonia State in 2012.  I have lived here in Derby for 15 years.  My husband is a former Lake Shore graduate and my two children are current Lake Shore students.  

I have over 15 years of teaching experience and have been in the district since 2016. I spent the last 6 years working in Special Education K-2, Kindergarten and 1st grade. 

I am super excited about being your child's teacher and look forward to a year full of learning and fun!
