School based Occupational Therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial and sensory components of performance during the school day. Occupational therapists focus on academics, play, self care, and transition / work skills. Areas addressed include: self care skills, visual motor integration skills, bilateral coordination skills, fine motor skills, executive functioning, sensory processing, visual perceptual skills, and handwriting skills.
