My name is Mrs. Mary Morrison and I am a reading specialist/math interventionist at Anthony J. Schmidt.

I received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and a Master of Science Degree in Reading Kindergarten-12 from Canisius College.  

I continue to further my education by taking professional learning courses and teaching workshops here in Lake Shore. 

This is my twenty third year here at Anthony J. Schmidt and I am proud to teach our wonderful students.  This year, I have the opportunity to teach reading and math to second, fourth and fifth graders. Collaborating with classroom teachers, I work with small groups of students to support their success.   I enjoy seeing my students grow as readers and writers!   My professional goal is to provide students with the literacy skills and strategies to build confident, independent learners.
