John T. Waugh Elementary School

     Hello! My name is Julie Atkinson and I am a Special Education Teacher at John T. Waugh Elementary School. I am very excited to be working as the Consultant Teacher in first grade this year! My love for teaching began at a young age. I am a Lake Shore Central Alumni and received my degrees (Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education/Special Education and Master of Science in Literacy Education) from SUNY Fredonia. This is my 13th year teaching at Lake Shore. Some of my favorite things include spending time with my family, reading, traveling and Disney! Further, I consider it a privilege to be working with you and your child. I look forward to a successful and fun school year!
