In an effort to embrace the technology that is evolving ever so quickly, we are attempting to integrate technology into our lessons in Math 8. Our main goal is to help students become better thinkers and problem solvers. From time to time we will be teaching within what is known as the "Flipped Classroom" model. This model will allows us to help spend more time working 1-on-1 with your child in the classroom like we have never been able to before. We feel that math anxiety will be greatly reduced and students will be able to take increased ownership of their education. We will work with you and your child to make sure they have full access to everything needed to succeed in math this year. We see this as an opportunity to build something great at Lake Shore Middle School and are VERY excited about the school year! Please feel free to contact one of the math 8 teachers (Mrs. Betz, Mrs. Schamberger, or Mrs. Wawrowski) with questions, comments or concerns.
