Registration Open for Saturday AM Open Swim at High School
Let's SPLASH into winter!
Lake Shore is offering Open Swim on Saturdays, 7:30-9:30 am, at the High School during December, January and February!
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-registration and a receipt are necessary for entry.

The Lake Shore Central School District is accepting applications for the following Transportation Department positions:

School Bus Mechanic Regular ($25.41/hour)
- Must possess valid NYS Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Must have experience working with diesel and gasoline powered school buses
- Mechanics do not drive bus routes
School Bus Mechanic Master ($27.14/hour)
- Must possess valid NYS Class B Driver's License
- Must have experience working with diesel and gasoline powered school buses
- Mechanics do not drive bus routes
School Bus Drivers ($23.02/hour)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Flexible days/hours
- Training available
- Must be able to meet NYS Certification Requirements
Substitute School Bus Drivers ($21.45/hour)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Flexible days/hours
- Training available
- Must be able to meet NYS Certification Requirements
Substitute School Bus Attendants ($14.70/hour)
- Must be 19 years of age
- Must be available to complete NYS School Bus Attendant Training Certification

2022-2023 Digital Equity Survey
Each year, the New York State Education Department requires the Lake Shore Central School District to survey parents and students on the availability of technology while away from school locations. Please take a moment to fill out the survey below as the information can be used by both the School District and New York State to pursue funding opportunities to address technology shortfalls.

UPK Registration & Orientation Information
We have openings in Lake Shore’s UPK (Universal Pre-Kindergarten) program offered in collaboration with the Southtowns YMCA.
This full-day class is free and runs from 8:45 a.m to 2:45 p.m.
Children must be 4 years old by December 1. Applications are available now at the William T. Hoag Educational Center Main Office, 42 Sunset Blvd., Angola.

There also is a wrap-around program from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. on school days for child care. Call the Southtowns YMCA, 674-9622, for registration information.Pre-Kindergarten Orientation Days will be on Tuesday, August 29 from 1-2 pm OR Wednesday, August 30 from 9-10 am. This is a great opportunity to meet staff, address questions and tour the building. You may also leave an extra set of clothes for your child. The only things your child will need daily are a backpack, water bottle and sneakers.
