Coronavirus (COVID-19)


  • Board of Education Regular Meeting – April 20, 2021 at 7 PM

    In-person attendance at the April 20, 2021 Board of Education will be limited to 10 visitors in order to comply with COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Those wishing to attend must enter through the main entrance of the High School where they will need to complete a Health Screening and temperature check prior to entrance into the meeting. Masks are required.


    Members of the public who do not wish to attend in person may view the meeting via live stream at In addition, the meeting will be recorded and transcribed at a later date. 


    The Board meeting will include an opportunity for unscheduled visitors to address the Board. Individuals who do not wish to attend the meeting in person, but wish to submit comments or questions may do so by sending an email to by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021.   • Application for Absentee Ballot Information

    The District Clerk will automatically mail an Absentee Ballot to each voter whose registration record on file with the county board of elections is marked “permanently disabled”.  All other voters must submit an application prior to obtaining an absentee ballot


    An Application for Absentee Ballot will be available in the District Clerk’s Office beginning Monday April 5, 2021 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.  The District Clerk’s Office is located in the Lake Shore High School, 959 Beach Road, Angola, NY. Applications are also available on our website at


    The Application for Absentee Ballot must be received by the District Clerk at least 7 days before (May 11, 2021) the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or the day before the election, if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter.


    Absentee Ballots must be received by the District Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on the day of the election (May 18, 2021).

  • Nominating Petitions - 2021 School Board Election

    Nominating Petitions for prospective school board members will be available in the District Clerk's Office beginning Monday, March 8, 2021 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The District Clerk's Office is located in the Lake Shore High School, 959 Beach Road, Angola, NY.


    All Petitions must be filed with the District Clerk's Office no later than Monday, April 19, 2021 by 5 p.m. Board Elections will be conducted for two (2) seats, both for three-year terms, on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Those seats are currently held by Kathleen Chiavetta and Jennifer Michalec.

    June 28-Aug. 13, 7 am-6 pm,
    Monday through Friday

    The Eagles Landing program will run from  June 28 - Aug. 13 (no program on July 5th) at Lake Shore High School.

    This year, one $500 fee covers a full 11 hours, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, for all seven weeks. ($14.29 per 11-hour day.) The fee also covers all field trips.

    A typical day includes games, arts and crafts projects, sports and adventure games, swimming and water activities, and much more. Campers are assigned to a group with other campers their age
