  • Dan Willis and the Velvet Gentlemen: Performing Here Oct. 15!
    One of the top woodwind specialists in the world is coming to Lake Shore! Dan Willis and the Velvet Gentlemen will perform at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15 in the High School Aud.

    Dan is an '86 Lake Shore grad of international scale talent. He is a "go to" musician in the NYC scene and regularly tours with big name artists. A few years ago he was a lead musician in the pit of the Broadway reopening of West Side Story, where he doubled on nine different instruments.

  • BACK-to-SCHOOL BASH on Sept. 23!
    Lake Shore students and families and teachers! All are invited to the Annual Back-to-School Bash presented by the Cattaraugus Education Department on Monday, Sept. 23 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Cattaraugus Community Center (CCC) on Route 438, Irving. There will be a complimentary dinner and ice cream truck, carnival-themed inflatables and games, as well as several outdoor family fun activities (gym lines, water balloon toss, lacrosse accuracy shoot, 3-point basketball competition) and door prizes. Come enjoy a fun evening with students of all ages and their families and teachers from the tri-county districts (Gowanda, Lake Shore and Silver Creek), courtesy of the Cattaraugus Education Department!

  • We're Hiring Bus Drivers!
    Are you lookig for a great part-time job? Do you love kids? Lake Shore Central Schools are hiring substitute bus drivers. To be a substitute driver, candidates must be 21 years of age, have a clean driving history, and be able to pass a physical and pre-employment drug screen. Commercial driver license Class B is preferred, but the district will train prospective candidates. Starting salary is $19/hour.   • Availability of Facility Use During the Capital Improvement Project 

    Please find below an availibility schedule of anticpated dates and facilties throughout the district that will be affected by our capital improvement construction project.
