Lake Shore Central School District Capital Construction Project: Phase 2
Phase 2 of the District's Capital Construction Project is underway. Phase 2 involves a new traffic pattern at the Middle School (click HERE for detailed information and map) while the school's main entry, main office and health office areas are reconstructed and a secure entryway is installed. There also will be an expanded restroom area near the auditorium. This work is expected to be completed by Fall 2020.
Phase 2 also brings additional work at the High School, where students have attended since the 1950s. Work has begun on an athletic entrance with a concession area and indoor restrooms for athletic events (see illustrations above), as well as the construction of technology classrooms. Target date for completion of this work is Fall 2021.
The four-phase Capital Construction Project was appoved by voters in May 2017 after a facilities study identified numerous areas in an end-of-life state that reequired attention to maintain the safety and integrity of district buildings.KEY PROCESS DATES
