• HELLO Lake Shore!!!
Welcome back.  While we know these are very unusual and difficult times, we are VERY happy to know that we will be seeng you to some extent.  Our start up will be different than normal, however, we will do our best to make music and provide you the best high school band experience we can considering the circumstances.  Under normal circumstances, you would have already received a letter from us detailing everything you need to know.  This year we are forced to start a little slower.  You will find out everything you need the first week of school.

Here are some things you need to take care of ASAP! :)
    1.  If you rent your instrument, make sure you have your rental taken care of so we can start rehearsals the second week of school.  You won't need it with you the first week.  Please bring it with you week 2.
    2.  If you own your instrument, make sure it is in good working condition!  Please bring it with you week 2.
    3.  If you use a school instrument (Tuba, Euphonium, Bari Sax, Tenor Sax, Bass Clarinet, or Percussion):  Continuing students should have their instrment from last year, Freshman should have their instrument from the middle school, and New Students will receive and instrument week 1.  Please bring them with you week 1 so we can update the inventories.  ****Any instrument NOT listed in paranthesis above is NOT provided by the school.

When you report to class the first week, even though your schedules will list the band room as our classroom, please follow signage and report to the auditorium so we can properly social distance.  Each of you wil be assigned an area in the auditorium seats.  Please enter through the side auditorium doors.  We will discuss how we will rehearse and any precausionary measures the first week of school.

Stay positive and follow protective guidelines.  This will help us get through this even faster!!

Deep Breath..........Stay Well!  We will see you soon!
    Mr. Blodgett and Mr. Kresse
