Lake Shore Central School Board of Education Recognition Award
The Lake Shore Central School Board of Education presents awards to those individuals or teams that have made significant contributions and/or achievements in the Lake Shore Central School District. The award is reserved for extraordinary performance that exemplifies excellence in education and goes above and beyond the typical responsibility of the individual or team.
Who can be nominated?
Students, staff, community members, and parents of the Lake Shore Central School District.
Who can nominate?
All persons and organizations are encouraged to submit nominations for consideration.
What are the criteria used for the award?
The criteria for approving the nominations include:
- Noteworthy accomplishments in academics, athletics, the arts, citizenship or leadership.
- Activities that result in significant enrichment of the educational experience of students.
- Extraordinary performance that goes above and beyond what is required of the individual/team.
- Activities that are a significant reinforcement of the mission of the Lake Shore Central School District.
Where do I submit the nomination form?
Submit all nominations to Kristine DeMartino, District Clerk, Lake Shore Central Schools, 959 Beach Road, Angola, New York, 14006.
What is the selection process?
The nomination form will be forwarded to the Board Recognition Program Committee for review and approval. Recipient(s) will be contacted and requested to attend an upcoming School Board meeting (with nominator) where the recipient(s) will be publicly recognized and presented with an award.
