Lake Shore Central School District

Lake Shore Central School District is hiring a full-time Teaching Assistant to support instruction at Lake Shore Middle School for the 2025–26 school year. This position works in both self-contained and integrated classrooms and provides direct support to teachers and students.

The Teaching Assistant will help reinforce instructional plans, assist with small-group and one-on-one learning, and support students with a wide range of academic and behavioral needs. Candidates should have a strong understanding of child and adolescent development, effective communication skills, and the ability to contribute to a positive and structured classroom environment.

• Experience with special education or behavior-support strategies is preferred
