Lake Shore Central School District is sharing important information for families of students in Grades 7–12 regarding Spring 2026 athletics, including season start dates, physical requirements, registration timelines, and the sports offered.

Season Start Dates

• JV and Varsity sports begin Monday, March 9, 2026

• Unified Basketball and Modified sports may begin as early as Monday, March 16, 2026

Please note that start dates and times may vary by sport.

Physical Requirements

Students must have a current physical on file in the health office before they are authorized to participate.

• Physicals must be dated March 1, 2025 or later for the Spring 2026 season

• No appointment needed for the following free physicals:

High School Health Office
Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 2:30 PM

Middle School Health Office
Thursday, March 10, 2026 at 2:30 PM

Registration Timeline

• JV and Varsity sign ups open Monday, February 9, 2026

• Modified sign ups open Tuesday, February 17, 2026

• Boys Baseball (Varsity, JV, Modified)

• Girls Softball (Varsity, JV, Modified)

• Boys Lacrosse (Varsity, JV, Modified)

• Girls Lacrosse (Varsity, Modified)

• Boys and Girls Track and Field (Varsity, Modified)

• Boys Tennis

• Unified Basketball

• Girls Flag Football (Grades 9–12, combined with Silver Creek)

Please be aware that some sports may make cuts. All athletes should plan on attending beginning on the first day of the season.
