ANGOLA, NY — The Lake Shore Central School District invites the community to the High School Media Center on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, for a comprehensive evening focused on district leadership and fiscal planning.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a casual "Meet the Candidates" forum. District residents will have the opportunity to hear from Michael Franey, Martha Mangan, and Gary Vassallo, who are running for seats on the Board of Education. This event is designed as an informal meet-and-greet to help neighbors connect with those seeking to serve our schools.
Annual Budget Public Hearing
Following the candidate forum at approximately 7 p.m., the District will conduct the Annual School Budget Meeting. This public hearing provides a transparent look at the proposed 2026-27 budget, highlighting our commitment to balancing academic excellence with fiscal responsibility.

The Annual Budget Vote, Referendums, and Board Election will take place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
