Family Code Night Finale Heads to High School Esports Room

Family Code Night Series Wraps Up
ANGOLA, NY – The Lake Shore Central School District is inviting students in grades 4-8 and their adult family members to the final Family Code Night of the school year. This high-energy event will take place on Wednesday, May 27, at 6:00 PM in the High School’s state-of-the-art Esports Room.
Designed to bridge the gap between elementary exploration and high school innovation, the evening offers families a chance to work side-by-side on interactive coding challenges. Participants will use logic and creativity to build digital projects in an environment usually reserved for our competitive high school gamers.
“These nights are about more than just technology; they are about the 'Lake Shore Experience' of families learning together,” said Michael Drezek, District Technology Integrator. “Watching a fourth grader show their parent how to solve a logic puzzle is exactly why we do this. It’s a great way to end a successful year of STEM engagement.”
