Padraic Schamberger Finishes Golf Season Ranked No. 1 in the ECIC
ANGOLA, NY – Lake Shore sophomore Padraic Schamberger finished the varsity golf regular season ranked No. 1 in the Erie County Interscholastic Conference (ECIC).
No golfer in the conference finished the regular season ranked higher. Padraic did it as a sophomore, with plenty of golf still ahead of him at Lake Shore.
Next Up: The ECIC Championship
Padraic tees off next at the ECIC Golf Championship on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Gowanda Country Club. Golfers earn a spot in the championship by finishing among the top 60 players in the conference.
He will have a teammate with him. Myles Locke also qualified for the championship, so two Lake Shore student-athletes will be on the course Tuesday.
A top-24 finish at the championship moves a golfer on to Sectionals. Good luck to Padraic and Myles!
