Athletics

Fields and facilities for every Eagle

Multi-sport turf: 225' x 360' fields with custom graphics for soccer and lacrosse.

Turf diamonds: turf baseball and softball fields with new dugouts and backstops.

Grandstand: 1,044 seats and a two-sided press box with streaming capability.

Night games: LED field lighting and new scoreboards.

Comfort in every classroom

Air conditioning: year-round climate control throughout the High School.

Learning spaces: new ceilings and high-efficiency LED lighting in classrooms.

Planned around school: work is phased over several summers to keep the school year on track.

How it's paid for

No new taxes for Phase 2.

Phase 2 is part of a multi-year plan funded by state building aid, expiring debt service and voter-approved reserves. It does not raise taxes.

Turf is going in

Lights on, seats full

The grandstand, press box and LED field lights are finished. Families and students filled the new seats for Homecoming.

The new grandstand rises

Crews put up the main framework for the new grandstand. It turned an open site into a place our community will gather for years.

Foundation poured for the grandstand and press box

After one of the wettest Aprils on record, crews poured the concrete pads that hold up the new seating and press box. Work on the playing surfaces continued alongside.
