Phase 2 of Lake Shore’s capital project is officially underway. This multi-year plan modernizes the spaces used by our students and athletes while maintaining a strict focus on fiscal responsibility—all with $0.00 additional tax impact.

  • 🦅 Fan Experience: New 1,044-seat football grandstands and a two-sided press box with streaming capability.

Campus Comfort & Modernization

While our fields transform, we are also investing in the daily life of our students. High school building improvements focus on comfort, functionality, and long-term maintenance.

  • Full A/C Installation: Year-round climate control throughout the High School.
  • Learning Spaces: New ceilings and high-efficiency LED lighting in classrooms.
  • Zero Disruption: Phased work over multiple summers to keep school activities on track.

Next Milestone: Site Grading & Foundation Layout...

With the footprint cleared, our specialized site teams are moving in to begin high-precision laser grading. This critical phase ensures perfect drainage and a stable foundation for the pro-level turf fields and the massive new grandstand structure arriving later this year.

Night Game Readiness: Light Pole Installation

This week marked a major vertical milestone for Phase 2. Specialized cranes and rigging crews were on-site at the football stadium to install our brand-new, high-efficiency LED night lighting poles.

Making Room: Concession Stand Demolition

The skyline of our athletic complex changed yesterday as crews officially demolished the old concession stand to make room for the expanded 1,000+ seat grandstands and modernized facilities our students deserve.

End of an Era: Old Bleacher Removal

Two weeks ago, site teams began the major task of dismantling the original home-side bleachers. While generations of Lake Shore families cheered from these stands, the removal allows us to begin the groundwork for our new 1,044-seat grandstands.
