Eagles in Action: Project Updates
A Bold Start: The Sledgehammer Groundbreaking
On February 17, Lake Shore leadership and the project team gathered not with shovels, but with sledgehammers. Led by Superintendent Phil Johnson, this unique ceremony marked the official commencement of Phase 2 by beginning the demolition of the old press box.
This wasn't just about clearing space; it was a symbolic "break" from the old to make way for the elite, state-of-the-art facilities our students deserve. By physically removing the outdated structures, we are paving the path for the new 1,000+ seat grandstands and pro-level streaming capabilities that will define the Lake Shore experience for years to come.
