Program Highlights
Sweet Success at Gakwi:yo:h Farms
Our Seneca Language students recently joined forces with peers from Silver Creek for a hands-on Maple Sugaring Experience. Students mastered the art of turning syrup into maple sugar, blending scientific observation with traditional ecological knowledge.
This immersive trip allowed students to practice language in a natural setting while learning the importance of being good stewards of the land. Nya:weh to the Gakwi:yo:h staff for the hospitality!
