Freshman Padraic Schamberger Wins ECIC Golf Championship

Lake Shore High School freshman Padraic Schamberger won the Erie County Interscholastic Conference (ECIC) boys’ golf championship at Lancaster Country Club, shooting a 73 to take the title.
Competing against upperclassmen from schools across Western New York, Schamberger delivered a calm, consistent round on one of the region’s toughest courses. His win stands out not only for the score but for the composure it took to earn it as a ninth-grader.
The result caps a strong season for Lake Shore golf and signals a promising future for the program. Schamberger’s focus and precision under pressure have already set a high bar for the years ahead.
Congratulations, Padraic, on your ECIC Championship victory and for representing Lake Shore with pride.
