Houston Middle School wrapped up its mac and cheese drive with a major achievement as students delivered 518 pounds of donations to FeedMore’s food bank in Buffalo. During their visit, students toured the warehouse and learned how food is sorted, stored, and distributed to families across Western New York. FeedMore staff spoke with students about the realities of food insecurity and the role community support plays in meeting local needs.

Students also created handmade holiday cards for Meals on Wheels recipients. Each card included warm seasonal wishes and messages of encouragement to brighten the day of those receiving meals.

To celebrate their hard work and the success of the drive, the group visited Chef’s for lunch.
