Eagle News: Behind the Scenes of Our Student-Led Broadcast

Student Creativity in Action
If you want to see what the future of media looks like, look no further than Lake Shore High School. Every week, our students produce Eagle News, a comprehensive broadcast that is entirely student-driven. This program serves as a real-world learning lab where students take full ownership of the production process.
From the initial spark of an idea to the final "on-air" sign-off, our students handle every technical and creative aspect, including:
-
Pre-Production: Idea generation and scriptwriting.
-
On-Air Talent: Anchoring, interviewing, and reporting.
-
Technical Operations: Video editing, audio engineering, and live switcher management.
