Lake Shore Releases 2026-27 Budget Guide and April Eagle Express

Community Information Released for 2026-27 Annual Budget Vote
The Lake Shore Central School District has released the April 2026 edition of the Eagle Express, providing a detailed guide to the proposed 2026-27 school budget and the upcoming Board of Education election. The newsletter, which is currently arriving in district households, serves as the primary resource for residents ahead of the annual vote on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
Superintendent Phil Johnson emphasized that the proposed budget is built on the "One Lake Shore" mission, focusing on maintaining strong academic programs and supporting our student-athletes. The plan also accounts for the continued progress of Phase 2 capital improvements, ensuring our facilities remain ready for the future of our students. “This budget represents our community’s investment in our shared future,” said Johnson. “It allows us to provide a high-quality education while remaining responsible to our taxpayers.”
